Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir at Blue Ridge Bible Church is a dynamic way for children to praise and worship God through music. With multiple performance opportunities throughout the school year–including specials in the worship service, musical dramas, and performances at outreach events–children are able to take an active part in the ministries and outreach of the church. At Blue Ridge, we celebrate the fact that the Lord has ordained the lips of children and infants to give Him praise! (see Psalm 8:2; Matt. 21:16)

Eligibility
Children between the ages of 7 and 13 as of January 1, 2012 are eligible to participate in choir. No previous musical experience is necessary.

Cost
The cost for music throughout the year is approximately $10 – $20 per family. There also may be additional costs for t-shirts, which are typically between $5 – $10 per child. We work hard to keep costs as low as possible.

Schedule
The choir rehearses every Wednesday night from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. from September through May. We rehearse at the church, upstairs on the 3rd floor.

Safety Policies
Children need to be signed in at the beginning of choir and signed out at the end. Sign-in begins at 5:45 p.m. and sign-out begins at 7:00 p.m. Children will not be allowed to leave the choir room without a responsible adult.
