Historical times (Dreana)

(From Adi & Lavinia Dreana)

The Living Hope Center is going though historical times. For many years we have been working with children, sick people, families, teenagers and leaders in order to reach our mission of bringing healing in this broken country of ours, a country that was robbed and put in spiritual, social and economical darkness for so many years by a merciless communist regime.

Praise Him for His Mighty Works

Posted on 03/03/2009 by Bob Mottice

(From Aaron and Debbie Karr)

Dear Friends,

Ps 150:2 Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness.

That is what we desire to do as we share our praise prayer report from January and February. January through March are the summer months here and things have been very busy. January we had our Field Team meetings here in Arequipa. All the Coastal Peru missionaries came together for Bible study, prayer, business, planning and fellowship. We had a great time visiting with our colleagues. During this week, Zack was invited by one of our colleagues to make a trip to the US to take a tour of Christian colleges. After much prayer, God showed us that this was what He wanted Zack to do, so we began planning.

Goal met for Aputara truck

Posted on by Bob Mottice

Praise the Lord! Enough funds were raised since last week to meet the matching grant, which means that Stephen Aputara now has enough to purchase his much-needed ministry truck. Thank you for opening your hearts and wallets to this need. We look forward to hearing how God blesses many people in northern Ghana through Stephen and his ability to reach them with this truck.

Almost there! (Aputara truck)

We’re now very close to raising enough funds to enable Stephen Aputara (missionary — norther Ghana) to purchase a ministry truck.

He needs $14,000 for a reliable used truck. The Lord has already provided $10,000, and BRBC has the promise of a $2,000 matching grant if we can raise the remaining $2,000. Right now we’re at $1,430, which means we’re still short $570.

Please prayerfully consider how much of this remaining balance you can supply.

Rogers Hellman, a former long-time BRBC member, left Purcellville in 2004 to start the Gnosis Project, with a focus towards getting improved medical care to the poorest people in Central America by providing the ability to collect and retain medical records even though people cannot read or write, or may not possess “official” government identification. Through a unique software tool and biometrics, their medical records can be stored on a computer in their villages so that medical histories are available to visiting physicians. Come to an after-church potluck to meet Rogers and hear about his ministry. RVSP by indicating your interest on the bulletin tear-off or contact Bob Mottice ([email protected]).
